December 24, 2009 - January 3, 2010 — Decided to start a company tradition and shut down the office the week between Christmas and New Year's. Paid vacation for everyone that doesn't come from their vacation days.

It was the first time that I'd ever been laid off and I wasn't sure what to do with myself. But I knew what I loved and I decided that there was nothing else that I was meant to do.
